What’s included with your Explore Class Pack Registration:


FIRST® LEGO® League Explore set - Sets include 700+ LEGO elements that help students bring their model to life with LEGO Education SPIKE Essential (or WeDo 2.0).  One set for each group of 4-6 children.


Engineering Notebooks - Printed student workbooks, also available digitally, that provide open spaces to write and draw ideas to the provided prompts. Children can use their engineering notebooks at the final event to share what they created. > View a Sample


DCU Teacher Guide for Ireland - Developed by the DCU Institute of Education, the DCU Teacher Guide for Ireland maps the FIRST LEGO League Explore programme to the Irish Curriculum with lesson plans for each session to guide you through the MASTERPIECE season.

How to Register

For the 2023/24 season, registration is being handled by the IET. You will need to complete the following steps:
  1. To start the process, click the Register button below.
  2. Create (or log into) your free account on the IET website.
  3. Select the appropriate equipment packs for your team.
  4. Complete all required fields on the registration form.
  5. Select your payment method. You will have the option of paying the IET directly or paying through Learnit.
  6. If paying the IET directly, your kit will be shipped within 7 days of receiving payment.
  7. If paying through Learnit, your kit will be shipped within 7 days of your registration (payment can be made at a later date)

Don't forget that you will need LEGO Education spike essential sets to use throughout the programme!


These can be purchased via Creative Hut.  You will need one SPIKE Essential Set per group.
