What’s included with your Challenge Registration:
FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge set - Themed robot game mat and exclusive sets of LEGO® elements to build season-specific mission models needed to complete the robot game.
Engineering Notebooks - Printed student workbooks, also available digitally, that provide open spaces to write and draw ideas to the provided prompts. > View a Sample
Robot Game Rulebooks - Printed and digital guides for adults and students with everything they need for the MASTERPIECE robot game. Each guide contains field set-up instructions, descriptions of each mission, and the rules student teams must follow during game preparation, action, and scoring.
Team Meeting Guide - Your comprehensive guide to running the FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge, a great addition for youth groups. With a lesson plan for each session, including handy tips and suggested tasks and questions. > View a sample
Challenge Tournament Registration
FIRST LEGO League Challenge regional tournaments take place across Ireland. Teams will compete for a place at the All Ireland Final.
Tournaments will take place throughout January & February 2024. You can view the schedule for this season's regional tournaments below.
Once you have registered, a member from of team will be in touch to assign you to your prefered regional tournament.
Team Registration for Regional Tournament - €252.15
For 1 Team of up to 10 members that will compete at a regional tournament.
1 x MASTERPIECE Challenge set (mat and mission models)
1 x Team Meeting Guide (for the coach)
2 x Engineering Notebooks (for the team)
1 x Robot Game Rulebook (for the team)
Additional Team Registration - €55.35
You can register additional teams, with no additional Challenge Sets, for €55.35 per team.

Challenge Class Pack
Class Pack is a version of the international STEM programme that enables a teacher or coach to deliver the programme with a larger group of young people.
Class Pack is designed for a group of up to 30 children (between 3-5 teams) and enables every child to take part.
Class pack can be delivered at anytime during the school year.
Class Pack Registration - €436.65
2 x MASTERPIECE Challenge sets (mat and mission models)
1 x Class Pack Guide (for you)
2 x Team Meeting Guides (for you, containing 12x lesson plan style sessions)
10 x Engineering Notebooks (allows for at least 2 per team)
5 x Robot Game Rulebooks (allows for at least 1 per team)
30 x LEGO medals and lanyards (one per participant)
1 x Build your own Small LEGO Trophy
Class Pack Tournament Registration - €55.35
Should you decide you'd like to take part in a regional tournament you can register teams, with no additional Challenge Sets, for €55.35 per team.
How to Register
- Click the Register button for Regional Tournament or Class Pack above.
- Create (or log into) your free account on the IET website.
- Select the appropriate equipment packs for your team.
- Complete all required fields on the registration form.
- Select your payment method. You will have the option of paying the IET directly or paying through Learnit.
- If paying the IET directly, your kit will be shipped within 7 days of receiving payment.
- If paying through Learnit, your kit will be shipped within 7 days of your registration (payment can be made at a later date).
